Meemure, Sri Lanka

Meemure is a beautiful remote village in tropical Sri Lanka with a population of about 400. It is located in the Knuckles Mountain Range. (Google Maps Location) This trip was AbsoLutelY wonderful!

People live with nature in harmony. Like a journey back in time this reminds me of the age people lived sustainable with nature. No pollution and no corruption! And most importantly no greediness!!

Guess what! Earlier in this year me and my friends had a journey there. And It was amazing! Check out the photos below..








Knuckles Mountain range is in the background where many endemic species live. Some of them can only be found in those mountains..

Natural streams like this hold some of the natures' purest water. These waters are home to many endemic tropical fish such as Cuming's barb & Black ruby barb. Some of the rare ornamental fish in the world market..

Finally...., Yes of course we had a great time! It is amazing to live in the paradise which reminds me of how lucky we are in every single day. Well., hope to meet you guys with a new post soon..
