Kirinda, Near Matara
As i am going to my Degree lectures i'm passing this place. (Google Maps Location) A small village and there is a little town near by.
You can see the paddy fields that have been abandoned for some time. There is a beautiful temple near by. You can see the "Dagaba" in white.
These paddy fields are being prepared to cultivate.
Here you can see the road and a statue of Buddha near the junction.

These canals are used to water the paddy fields. A complete echo system can be found here with few different types of fish.
